Artist Statement. Over the decades, as a painter/poet I’ve come to realize that this work comes about through no great virtue of my own. For if it were up to my human, my all too human self I would likely still be eating chips and watching TV; but, fortunately (blessed) for me something Higher had a better idea.
You see, just as the brush, the pen, the chisel act as a tool for the artist, so too am I a mere a tool, catalyst, vessel, or channel conduit through which something greater gives Voice through me. And so, in the end, I’m left not so much with pride of accomplishment (although it is present) but with a deepening sense of Gratitude for the Blessings of all the many Gifts I have been given.
HOW could I have been so worthy to have received so much?
As artists, as humans, we know that the act of Sharing is really an Act of Love.
The giving from one Heart to another.
My work (?) has not come from me, but through me.
Given, Blessed, Bestowed upon me as an expression of Love,
From My Heart to Yours

CELESTIAL NAVIGATION
Dark Night of the Journey
I glance toward The Heavens Celestial Night.
The vast clustering dome that has given me sight.
I’ll stop for an instant, – for a moment I might.
Spark the flickering flame of the Light as called life.
For I’ve come on a Journey far into the Night.
Proceeding at will,— at Will that I might.
And before this far traveler takes aim out Beyond.
That faltering flame will have been one for those.
A flickering Beacon, to light their own throes.

OF THIS WORLD
Please do not see me with the Eyes of this world.
Please do not hear me with the Ears of this world.
Please do not love me with the Love of this world.
For we are,— none of us,— from this place,— or
OF THIS WORLD.

LONELY, ONE LOVE
Only One Source, Only One Energy,
Lonely, One Love.
We are all Source, Loving itself.
Ever at Play
In the Harvesting Fields
Of this Night Time we call Day.

THE COMING
The Angels descended this morning.
Descending to me from On High.
We sat and we spoke to each other,
I knew not of reasons, but Why?
They spoke of things that are coming,
To prepare with a Joy and not Sigh.
To speak to the world of “The Coming”.
To speak to the world From On High.
